The workshops always have a supportive tone, and provide room for both seriousness about craft and the light-heartedness necessary to write ‘shitty’ drafts…
Nell Lake, author of The Caregivers
We offer weekly, one-day and half-day writing workshops year round in the Pioneer Valley, taught by regional authors. All our writing workshops emphasize writing time, community and craft development, giving and receiving feedback, developing voice, and nurturing creativity and confidence. Unlike many area workshops, our workshops meet for three hours and we limit enrollment to eight participants, for a high-quality experience! Workshops include light refreshments and take place in our beautiful, bright Florence studio. Dori also hosts a year-long Manuscript Intensive Series for writers working on book-length projects.
