Get Published: A Submission Party with Emily Lackey
You asked for it, and we delivered! Writers in Progress’s Submission Party is the perfect way to dedicate time to submitting your work. This three-hour event is for writers who are ready to submit their work to literary journals and magazines. After sharing our goals for submitting, we’ll dive right into sending our work off and into the world. Writers will receive an updated list of journals and magazines that are current accepting submissions, cover letter templates, and free access to the publisher’s listing service, Duotrope, to get going. They’ll also be able to ask questions and get specific guidance throughout the session. Turn this time-consuming process into a fun and encouraging occasion!
Tuesday, September 15, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. ($15)
