The Blueprint Your Book Series, with Susanne Dunlap

Welcome to the Blueprint Your Book series, [back by popular demand, and now with expanded offerings]! Over the next six months, writers will have the opportunity to create and stack the building blocks of their book in a way that provides structure while still allowing ample space to discover as they write. The series includes:

  • Fine-Tuning the Fundamentals (Saturday, January 9, 9:30–12:30)
  • Focus on the Reader (Saturday, February 13, 9:30–12:30)
  • Building a Solid Book Structure (Saturday, March 13, 9:30–12:30)
  • Crafting Compelling Scenes (Saturday, April 10, 9:30–12:30)
  • The Inside Outline (Saturday, June 5, 9:30–12:30 & Saturday, June 12, 9:30–12:30)

The series is taught by Author Accelerator Certified Advanced Book Coach, Susanne Dunlap. Writers of all fiction and memoir genres are welcome to register for all six workshops in this Blueprint series for a 10% discount, or register for only specific workshops (listed below) that meet their current needs.

Susanne Dunlap is the author of ten historical novels for adults and teens. Her young adult novel The Musician’s Daughter was a Junior Library Guild selection and a Bankstreet Children’s Book of the Year, and it was nominated for the Missouri Gateway Readers Prize and the Utah Book AwardHer latest novel, Listen to the Wind and The Spirit of Fire are the first volumes of a medieval trilogy for adults, The Orphans of Tolosa. Listen to the Wind is a semi-finalist for the Chaucer Awards for Pre-1750 Historical Fiction and a Distinguished Favorite in the NYC Big Book Awards. Susanne has a PhD in music history from Yale University and is an Author Accelerator Advanced Certified Book Coach.
